IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

Devin Abrams aka Pacific Heights (former member of Shapeshifter) approached me in late 2017 to direct the visuals for his new album "A Lost Light". He floated the idea of having a short film to showcase the entire album, instead individual shorter music videos. I was also asked to create all the visual assets that accompany an album release under major label. This ranged from album artwork, videos, to promotional assets. The following assets are the final product of the year long creative process that followed… 

The first and major part of this project was the short film which I directed, co-produced and edited. It incorporates the album A Lost Light as a sound track. The film was inspired by the vivid dream Abrams had prior to creating his album. HIs dream follows the journey Abrams saw himself as a young man in 18th century Britain, leaving his wife and their unborn child to embark on an eventually doomed expedition towards the Pacific. This film was shot in March 2018 in New Zealand
